Arrive at Bergen International Airport where our adventure specialist will welcome you. After a brief orientation, transfer directly to Mount Fløyen via the Fløibanen funicular for your first Norwegian adventure. Embark on an exhilarating mountain biking experience down specially designed trails with spectacular views of Bergen and the surrounding fjords (suitable for various skill levels). Continue with a guided hike through the mountain's network of trails, learning about the unique ecosystem and Norse mythology associated with the landscape. Descend to Bergen for hotel check-in followed by an orientation walk through the UNESCO-listed Bryggen Wharf with its colorful wooden buildings. Welcome dinner featuring fresh Norwegian seafood. After breakfast, depart for the magnificent Hardangerfjord region. En route, stop at the impressive Steinsdalsfossen waterfall where you can actually walk behind the cascading water. Continue to the Vøringsfossen area for an adrenaline-filled start – a guided hike to spectacular viewpoints followed by an exhilarating via ferrata climbing route with steel cables, ladders, and suspended bridges offering incredible perspectives of the 182-meter waterfall and canyon. This adventure includes proper safety training and equipment, and alternative hiking routes are available for those preferring less extreme activities. Arrive at your accommodation nestled along the fjord shores in the afternoon. Evening fjord-to-table dinner featuring local produce and ingredients from the surrounding mountains and waters. Early morning start for the highlight adventure – a full-day guided hike to the iconic Trolltunga (Troll's Tongue), one of Norway's most spectacular rock formations jutting out 700 meters above Lake Ringedalsvatnet. This challenging 10-12 hour return hike requires good fitness and covers 23km with 800m elevation gain. Your experienced guide will ensure safety while sharing insights about the geology and nature of this remarkable area. Reach the famous rock formation for unforgettable photos and a well-deserved packed lunch with panoramic views. Descend in the afternoon and return to your accommodation for a relaxing evening. After breakfast, transfer to the adventure hub of Voss. Begin with an exhilarating zipline experience, soaring 300 meters above the valley floor (optional, weather permitting). Continue with white-water rafting on the Stranda River's exciting rapids (Class III-IV, seasonal May-September; alternative activity provided in other months). After lunch, journey through spectacular mountain scenery to the majestic Sognefjord, Norway's longest and deepest fjord. Arrive at your waterside accommodation in the afternoon with time to relax and take in the breathtaking views. Dinner at your hotel featuring local specialties. Overnight in Sognefjord region.
Full day experiencing the fjord's waters and surrounding landscapes. Morning kayaking excursion on the calm, emerald waters of the Sognefjord, gliding silently past cascading waterfalls and steep mountain walls rising directly from the sea. After lunch, embark on a thrilling RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) safari, speeding through the narrow Nærøyfjord (UNESCO World Heritage site) with the wind in your hair as your guide points out wildlife and tells tales of the ancient fjord culture. Early morning departure to the Jostedalen valley for your final Norwegian adventure – a guided hike on Nigardsbreen, an accessible arm of Europe's largest glacier, Jostedalsbreen. After safety instruction and equipment fitting (crampons, ice axes, harnesses), explore the mesmerizing blue ice formations, crevasses, and ice caves of this ancient glacier. This moderate 3-4 hour glacier experience provides a fitting finale to your Norwegian adventure (weather permitting). Afterward, transfer to Bergen International Airport (approximately 3.5 hours) for your departure flight, taking home incredible memories and photographs of your Norwegian fjord adventure.
