After breakfast, board a scheduled flight to Nanyuki airstrip (approximately 45 minutes), followed by a transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a 90,000-acre private wildlife conservancy. This pioneering conservation area integrates cattle ranching with wildlife protection. Check in at your luxury tented camp before lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to search for the Big Five, including the conservancy's protected rhino population. Visit the Endangered Species Enclosure, home to the last two northern white rhinos on earth. Dinner and overnight at Ol Pejeta Bush Camp or similar.
Begin your day with an early morning game drive, returning for breakfast at camp. Mid-morning, participate in an exclusive behind-the-scenes conservation experience: join rangers to track collared lions using telemetry equipment and learn about predator research. After lunch, visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya to see these great apes. Later, meet with anti-poaching team members to understand their critical work protecting rhinos, followed by sundowners in the bush. Dinner and overnight at your camp.
Following breakfast, transfer to the acclaimed Lewa Wildlife Conservancy (approximately 1-2 hours), a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its successful rhino conservation efforts. Arrive at your luxury lodge for lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Lewa is home to over 10% of Kenya's rhino population and supports over 70 mammal species and 350 bird species. Enjoy spectacular views of Mount Kenya as you search for Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, and both black and white rhinos. Return for dinner and overnight at Lewa Safari Camp or similar.
Start with a guided bush walk with Maasai warriors and a conservation officer, learning about tracking, medicinal plants, and ecosystem management. Return for breakfast at the lodge. Mid-morning, visit Lewa's conservation headquarters to understand their innovative approaches to community-based conservation. After lunch, choose between a game drive, horseback safari (for experienced riders), or a camel trek to experience the landscape from a different perspective. Evening sundowners at a scenic viewpoint followed by dinner and overnight at your lodge.
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara (approximately 1 hour). Upon arrival, you'll be met and transferred to your exclusive camp situated on a private conservancy bordering the main reserve. This location offers the dual advantage of exclusivity and easy access to the Mara ecosystem. After lunch at the camp, embark on an afternoon game drive in the conservancy, which allows off-road driving for closer wildlife encounters. Enjoy sunset drinks in the bush before returning to camp for dinner. Overnight at &Beyond Bateleur Camp or similar.
Rise early for a dawn game drive when predators are most active, returning to camp for a late breakfast. Mid-morning, choose between relaxing at camp or visiting a local Maasai community for cultural insights, guided by community representatives (not a commercial village visit). After lunch, enjoy another game drive in the main Masai Mara Reserve, famous for its abundant big cats and the Great Migration (July-October). Dinner and overnight at your camp.
Start with an optional hot air balloon safari at dawn (additional cost), drifting silently over the plains as wildlife begins their day, followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush. Alternatively, enjoy an early morning game drive. After breakfast/lunch, participate in a half-day Big Cat Monitoring activity with researchers studying lions and cheetahs, helping to photograph and identify individuals. Evening game drive focusing on predator activity, followed by a special bush dinner under the stars, complete with Maasai entertainment. Overnight at your camp.
Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Mara before returning to camp for breakfast. Transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Nairobi (approximately 1 hour). Upon arrival, you'll be met and transferred to your hotel. Afternoon visit to Ocean Sole, a unique conservation initiative that turns discarded flip-flops into art while cleaning up beaches and providing employment. Evening farewell dinner at the renowned Talisman Restaurant, featuring contemporary African fusion cuisine. Overnight at your Nairobi hotel.
After breakfast, depending on your departure time, enjoy a private tour of the Karen Blixen Museum or shop for high-quality Kenyan crafts at Utamaduni and Kazuri Beads, which empowers local women. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight, taking with you unforgettable memories of Kenya's wildlife and conservation efforts.
