Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, where our representative will meet and transfer you to your hotel. After a welcome briefing about your upcoming safari adventure, enjoy an afternoon visit to the Giraffe Centre, where you can feed and photograph the endangered Rothschild giraffes. Continue to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to observe the evening feeding of orphaned elephants. Dinner at your hotel and overnight in Nairobi.
After breakfast, drive to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve (approximately 5-6 hours), part of the vast Serengeti ecosystem and home to the spectacular Great Migration. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Experience your first thrilling wildlife encounters as you explore the rolling grasslands dotted with acacia trees, searching for lions, cheetahs, elephants, and numerous other species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Rise early for a morning game drive as the savanna comes alive with activity. Return to the lodge for breakfast, followed by a mid-morning game drive or optional visit to a traditional Masai village to learn about their fascinating culture and traditions. After lunch at the lodge, embark on another game drive, focusing on finding the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo). For an unforgettable experience, take an optional hot air balloon safari at dawn (additional cost), floating silently over the plains as animals begin their day below. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Enjoy an early breakfast before departing for Lake Nakuru National Park (approximately 4-5 hours). This park is famous for its rhino sanctuary, hosting both black and white rhinos, and its stunning lake often carpeted with thousands of pink flamingos. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. Besides rhinos and flamingos, look out for lions, leopards, Rothschild giraffes, and over 450 bird species. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru.
After breakfast, journey to Amboseli National Park (approximately 6-7 hours), renowned for its magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large elephant herds. Enjoy a picnic lunch en route, arriving at your lodge in the afternoon. Time permitting, take a short game drive to get your first glimpse of Amboseli's abundant wildlife against the backdrop of Africa's highest mountain. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Start your day with an early morning game drive when Mount Kilimanjaro is most likely to be visible, its snow-capped peak rising majestically above the plains. Return to the lodge for breakfast, followed by leisure time to enjoy the lodge facilities. After lunch, embark on another game drive, focusing on Amboseli's famous elephant herds, with some of the largest tuskers remaining in Africa. The park's swamps and springs, fed by Kilimanjaro's melting snow, attract a rich variety of wildlife and birds. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Amboseli before breakfast. Check out and drive back to Nairobi (approximately 4-5 hours), arriving in the afternoon. Visit the Karen Blixen Museum, the former home of the "Out of Africa" author, followed by shopping at local craft markets where you can purchase authentic Kenyan souvenirs. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at the famous Carnivore Restaurant, known for its variety of traditional and exotic meats. Overnight in Nairobi.
After breakfast, enjoy some leisure time or optional activities depending on your flight schedule. You may choose to visit the Nairobi National Museum or the Utamaduni Craft Centre for last-minute shopping. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight, bringing home unforgettable memories of your Kenyan safari adventure.
