Check-in & Reporting Time : Hotel check-in in Japan is generally after 14:00 hrs and check-out before 11:00–12:00 hrs. Travellers are advised to report at Cochin International Airport at least 3 hours before departure.

Luggage Allowance : International flights usually allow 20–30 kg checked baggage along with cabin baggage. Keep passports, medicines, valuables, and essential items in your hand luggage.

Japan Visa Formalities : A valid Japan tourist visa is required for Indian passport holders. Intersight Holidays will provide complete assistance for the visa application process.

Medicines & Clothing : November in Japan offers cool and pleasant autumn weather with temperatures around 8°C–18°C. Carry light winter wear, comfortable walking shoes, jackets, sunglasses, and personal medicines with prescriptions.

Climate Conditions : Japan during November is famous for beautiful autumn colours, pleasant weather, and comfortable sightseeing conditions. Occasional light rain may occur, so carrying a compact umbrella is recommended.

Local Currency : Japanese Yen (JPY) is the local currency. International cards are widely accepted, but carrying some cash is recommended for small purchases and local shops.

Safety Precautions : Japan is one of the safest countries for travellers. Keep your valuables secure, carry copies of important documents, and follow local rules and cultural etiquette during the tour.

Shopping in Japan : Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka are excellent for shopping. Popular items include electronics, Japanese snacks, anime merchandise, cosmetics, souvenirs, tea products, and traditional handicrafts.

Terms and Conditions

Booking Procedure

To confirm your seat for the Japan Group Tour, kindly submit the completed booking form along with clear passport copies of all travellers.
A non-refundable booking deposit of INR 60,000 per person is required at the time of reservation.
The remaining balance payment must be completed upon visa approval or at least 45 days prior to departure, whichever comes earlier.
Travellers are requested to submit all required documents for visa processing and travel formalities within the timeline advised by Intersight Holidays to avoid delays or cancellation of booking.

Cancellation Policy

46 days or more before departure: INR 60,000 per person
31 – 45 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost
16 – 30 days before departure: 75% of total tour cost
0 – 15 days before departure: 100% of total tour cost

No refund will be provided for unused services, missed sightseeing, flight no-shows, or voluntary changes made during the tour.
Any applicable TCS amount can be claimed as per Government of India regulations while filing Income Tax Returns.
Currency exchange rates applicable will be based on the prevailing rate on the date of final payment.

Important Notes

Hotels, airline schedules, sightseeing activities, and tour arrangements are subject to change due to operational requirements, weather conditions, local regulations, or unforeseen circumstances.
The Tour Manager reserves the right to make necessary changes to the itinerary, schedules, routes, or accommodations in the best interest of the group and smooth operation of the tour.
All guests are responsible for carrying valid travel documents including passport, visa, travel insurance, and other required permits during the journey.
Any cancellation, amendment, or modification to the booking must be communicated in writing to Intersight Holidays.
Standard hotel check-in and check-out timings will apply as per hotel policies.
Tour prices are based on a minimum group size operating together. Any significant changes in airfare, taxes, currency fluctuations, or government regulations may result in price revisions.
