After breakfast, embark on a comprehensive city tour of Tbilisi. Begin with the historic Old Town featuring the 13th-century Metekhi Church and take a cable car to Narikala Fortress for panoramic views of the city. Visit the famous Sulphur Baths in the Abanotubani district and stroll through Shardeni Street with its cozy cafés and wine bars. Tour the Georgian National Museum to understand the country's rich history. In the afternoon, enjoy shopping at the Dry Bridge Market for unique souvenirs and antiques, followed by free time to explore Rustaveli Avenue, the main street of Tbilisi.
Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before driving to Mtskheta, Georgia's ancient capital and spiritual heart. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Continue to Uplistsikhe, one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia – a remarkable cave town dating back to the 1st millennium BC. After exploring this fascinating site, return to Tbilisi for dinner at a local restaurant featuring Georgian cuisine and wine pairing.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Kakheti, Georgia's premier wine region. Visit the beautiful town of Sighnaghi, known as the "City of Love," with its well-preserved town walls and stunning views of the Alazani Valley. Continue to the Bodbe Monastery, an important pilgrimage site. Later, visit a traditional family winery for a masterclass in Georgian wine-making using qvevri (clay vessels) – a UNESCO-recognized traditional method. Experience a traditional Georgian supra (feast) dinner with local hosts before checking into your wine resort or chateau-style accommodation in Kakheti.
Enjoy breakfast at your accommodation before embarking on a full day wine tour. Visit Tsinandali Estate, once owned by the 19th-century aristocratic poet Alexander Chavchavadze, and tour its beautiful gardens and wine cellars. Continue to Telavi, the main city of Kakheti, and visit the bustling local market. Explore the imposing Gremi Citadel, a 16th-century architectural complex. In the afternoon, visit one of Georgia's leading commercial wineries for a professional tasting of different Georgian wine varieties. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, check out and drive north along the spectacular Georgian Military Highway towards Kazbegi (Stepantsminda). En route, stop at the Ananuri fortress complex overlooking the Jinvali reservoir. Visit the Georgia-Russia Friendship Monument at Cross Pass, offering breathtaking mountain views. Upon reaching Kazbegi, take a 4x4 vehicle up to the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church set against the backdrop of Mount Kazbek. Check into your hotel in Kazbegi and enjoy dinner with stunning views of the Caucasus Mountains.
After breakfast, check out and begin your return journey to Tbilisi. Drive through the picturesque Gudauri ski resort area with a stop for final photographs of the magnificent mountain landscapes.
