Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Continue to Uplistsikhe, one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia – a remarkable cave town dating back to the 1st millennium BC. Visit the beautiful town of Sighnaghi, known as the "City of Love," with its well-preserved town walls and stunning views of the Alazani Valley. Continue to the Bodbe Monastery, an important pilgrimage site. Later, visit a traditional family winery for a masterclass in Georgian wine-making using qvevri (clay vessels) – a UNESCO-recognized traditional method. Visit Tsinandali Estate, once owned by the 19th-century aristocratic poet Alexander Chavchavadze, and tour its beautiful gardens and wine cellars. After breakfast, check out and drive north along the spectacular Georgian Military Highway towards Kazbegi (Stepantsminda). En route, stop at the Ananuri fortress complex overlooking the Jinvali reservoir. Visit the Georgia-Russia Friendship Monument at Cross Pass, offering breathtaking mountain views. Upon reaching Kazbegi, take a 4x4 vehicle up to the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church set against the backdrop of Mount Kazbek.
