Overview

Uluru, also known as Ayers Rock, is one of Australia’s most famous natural landmarks. It is a huge red rock that rises 348 meters from the desert in the Northern Territory. Uluru is very special to Aboriginal people, who have lived in the area for thousands of years. The rock changes color during the day, especially at sunrise and sunset, which many people come to see. It is a peaceful and powerful place that offers a deep connection to nature and Aboriginal culture. Visitors can take guided walks, learn stories from the Anangu people (the traditional owners), and explore nearby cultural centers. Climbing Uluru is not allowed, out of respect for its sacred meaning. Uluru is not just a beautiful place, but also a strong symbol of Australia’s ancient culture and natural beauty.
