On arrival, seat in coach guests will be met and privately transferred to hotel. Self drive guests will collect a rental car and drive to the hotel.


Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Auckland city (seat in coach guests only). Visit Kelly Tarlton’s Sealife Aquarium and Antarctic Encounter (both seat in coach and self drive guests). The remainder of the day is free. (B)


Travel south through the fertile Waikato region to arrive at Waitomo. Enjoy a guided tour of the famous Glowworm Caves including underground boat ride. Continue to Rotorua this afternoon. (B)


Visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see boiling mudpools and roaring geysers. Following this, visit Agrodome for a farm show and Rainbow Springs to see trout, birds and wildlife. The afternoon is at leisure. This evening enjoy an authentic Maori Hangi (feast) and Concert. (B,D)


Depart on your domestic flight from Rotorua to Christchurch (airfare is NOT included). (B)


Travel across the fertile Canterbury Plains to Lake Tekapo and the Church of the Good Shepherd before continuing on to New Zealand’s highest mountain - Mt Cook. Depart Mt Cook and follow the shores of Lake Pukaki south through the historic Central Otago region to the ‘Alpine Resort’ of Queenstown. (B)


Enjoy a Queenstown Highlights city tour today (seat in coach guests only), including AJ Hackett Bungy Centre, Arrowtown and Gibbston Valley Winery. The remainder of the day is at leisure. (B)


Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breath taking man made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Return to Queenstown. (B,L)

Franz Josef Glacier

The Franz Josef glacier located in Westland Tai Poutini National Park on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island. Together with the Fox Glacier 20 km to the south, it is unique in descending from the Southern Alps to less than 300 metresabove sea level, amidst the greenery and lushness of a temperatrainforest.


Kaikoura Township

The Kaikoura is a town on the east coast of the South Island of New Zealand & it is located on a rocky peninsula, protruding from lush farmland beneath the mountains. In the waters off the peninsula, a complex marine system provides an abundantly rich habitat for marine mammals and seabirds making it an ideal place for getting 'close to nature'.


Mitre Peak

Mitre Peak is an iconic mountain in the South Island of New Zealand. It is one of the most photographed peaks in the country.The distinctive shape of the peak in southern New Zealand gives the mountain its name, after the mitre headwear of Christian bishops.
